I've been asked to work a 12 hour shift on a holiday. I was told the pay is 1.5 times regular pay for the full 12 hours. Isn't there a differential for time over 8 hours, even on a holiday?

This is a wonderful opinion. The things mentioned are unanimous and
needs to be appreciated by everyone.

I know that every employee is entitled to an overtime pay as mandated by law. But if an employee is employed by labor only contracting (contractual) then, some of the benefits are cut off.
